Peer-Review Process:
idyodaya Journal of Management follows a Double Blind peer-review process. First, the Co-Editors do the ‘Desk Review’ and check whether the manuscript is aligned with the scope of the journal, structure of the manuscript, and the extent of the scholarship of the manuscript. Then, two reviewers are assigning in relation to the area of expertise and/or methodological expertise. To be a reviewer of VJM, the reviewer should have a doctoral qualification and considerable level of publication history. Upon the consent of the reviewer, the manuscript (which is anonymous) is sent to the reviewer with a review letter which includes the review guidelines and a review form. A maximum of two months will be provided to each reviewer with several reminders. Upon receipt of both reviewers’ review comments, if both reviewers accept the manuscript (with major/miner) revisions, the editors directly send them to the corresponding author for corrections. If one reviewer rejects while the other accepts, a fresh reviewer will be appointed for the final decision. It is obvious that the paper will be rejected if both reviewers recommend rejection. Depending upon the severity of the corrections to be done, a fair time is allowed for the corresponding author to resubmission after corrections. The co-editors check the corrections and defense by the authors for the items which were not corrected as suggested by the reviewers. Then each finalized paper will be sent to the editorial assistant of the journal for formatting and language proof reading.
Submit a Manuscript:
We believe in fast publication process of all the accepted research papers. VJM guarantees the publication of accepted paper in the immediate next journal. All submitted papers will be double blind peer reviewed in order to maintain the expected quality of the Journal. Duly completed electronic copy of your manuscript needs to be sent to vjm@sjp.ac.lk. Then you will be received a reference number for each manuscript submitted. Please indicate the reference number when you communicate with regards to a manuscript.
After your manuscript is blind reviewed, comments of reviewers and/or decision of the editorial board will be made available to the corresponding author. Once an article is accepted for publication in the Journal, the author should submit the final/amended version in MS-Word format to the same e-mail addresses: vjm@sjp.ac.lk. Once an article is submitted, the author/s cannot submit the same manuscript to another journal without getting the withdrawal permission from the chief editors of the Journal.
Manuscripts can be submitted throughout the year.
